I would like to share with you about comparing Window XP Vs Window Vista.  I think I like Window XP better because it doesn’t have too many bugs like window vista does.  Window Vista caused some programs to close down itself because they had bugs.   Internet Explorer was frozen several time and I had to close many tabs to restore it.  Window vista has moved temporary files folder to another location that I had trouble to find it and had to use search feature to find it.  However; Window vista looks awesome and is fast. 

I felt comfortable using Window XP because I have used it for long time and know Window XP’s system.  It does have some bugs but not much like as window vista does.

I would like to hear your opinion about Window XP Vs Window Vista.  Just leave good comments in here.

It started two days ago when I started using Mozilla FireFox Internet more because it is faster than Internet Explorer. When I click any links in Outlook Express E-mail, it frozen. I had to do research to find out why and fix it. So I found one link and I tried to do everything microsoft told me to but none was working until I found one link that explained me how to fix it.

I will give you a step to next steps.

1. Click Start

2. Click Programs

3. Click Assoceries

4. Find Window Explorer and click it.

5. You see menu at the top. Click on Tools and it drop down.

6. Click on Folder Options

7. Finally you are in the Folder Options and click File Types Tab

8. Look for URL: Hypertext Transfer Protocol then highlight it.

9. Click Advance

10. Click edit

11. Click browse and go to C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\iexplore.exe

12. Click OK and again click OK.

Close all windows and reopen Outlook Express and test to see if the link works to open Internet Explorer.

If not, try go to Start and click Run. Copy and paste this regsvr32 urlmon.dll into Run blank text and click ok.

If none of solution provided here are working, reinstall Internet Explorer and Outlook but if it came with operating system, reinstall the operator system.

I had faced the challenge to defend myself from became victim of scam.  I will show you how I did deal with it and successfully stopped scammer. It happens in e-mail after I post the ads in yahoo classified.  Also I included tips to not fall in the scam.

My tips

Just ship your items in your country only or do not ship items to where high fraud buyers in countries and high rate of terrorists.

Accept Credit Cards or Paypal only.  If you want to accept cashier’s check, money order, and personal check, you should verify with the bank first before you cash it or deposit it in bank.  Do not let anyone to pay more than you charge them.  They must pay exact amount that you charged them.  If they pay more than the exact charge, deny the order.

Do not ship your merchandise to the customer until you get the money and verify the checks that is valid.

Note:  Bank will hold you as responsible for scam checks.

Never accept western union or wire transfer electronics.

6.  Easy to navigate, not confused.  Every page should have navigation with home link.  So everyone can click links where they can go back to or go other page to check.  Everyone is very curious, so let them explore without getting lost.

What is floating frame?  It is similar as normal frames but it is not navigation.  It is just simple put in between rich contents with a link.  So search engines do not have trouble with it.  I did do research about it.  It is not bad.  I liked it a lot because it is more convenience for customers and other people to find the store.  I just put it right on main page so people can see the store.  Also people do not have to worry to find other page to find the store.  It is a lot easier.

I am willing to give you some html codes so you can put it on your main page on website with specific page that is most important.  You need use tag <iframe> </iframe>

Have you ever problem with AOL like logging in AOL email on website.  Maybe you had problem with your AOL software.  I never use it for nearly 4 years.  I do not like AOL for variety reasons but it is my problem.

I had to spend time at least 20 min to find what is the problem and read again in the tutor.  Their tutor were bit too basic or confusing.  I finally understood what they were saying to fix the problem.

Every time I log in and see a blank except navigation of AOL.  I was frustrated and had to find the problem in AOL tutor to see what they have.  I have to delete temporary files through Internet option (tools menu>Internet option>temporary files section>press delete files and cookies buttons) that will solve the problem.  When I did delete temporary files in Internet option, the problem vanished and I finally can read email and communicate with my family in email.  I found only one that will solve problem is deleting temporary files.  So you should do that nearly everyday so your computer wouldn’t have bugs or spams.

How to delete temporary files

1. Click Tools on the menu

2. Again look for Internet option and click on it.

3. The Internet option appears and look for temporary files section

4. Press “delete cookies” and “delete files”

5. Wait until the busy cursor is over then click OK.

That it!  I hope you would understand better this time.  You don’t need do anything else except if your AOL problem persists, then do something else.

If you have software AOL, try go to AOL major icon and click right side and find properties or options.  I don’t remember.  Clear cache in there mostly in Internet or temporary files etc…  AOL tutor have better explanation but sometimes they go too far or too basic.  They need be more concise and specific in problem area.  I have no AOL software so I cannot help right now unless you show me.

Have you owned other business in past before you set up that generating profits.  If so, how did you learn from past business and manage the risks. 

I am sure million business owner has lose suffience money and have to find odd jobs to cover the expenses living and business expenses that is costly risk although in a couple years, it will generate great profitable if the business have right products and a great customer services. 

I learned in past one year now, I know that Art doesn’t well with business unless I put my art on the products that people want then it will generate great profits. 

Another disadvantage, graphic arts and doing arts requires heavily supplies, computer was my major one, my old computer went dead so I had to shut the art business down because I have no tools.

Now I have old pentium 2 laptop that cannot support graphic arts but i have small freeware graphic art software that will do the most jobs although not like I used to have.  So I decide to find other way to keep up with business is blogging and do arts in real life.

I decided to do blog because there are new way to make money with blog now.  It is easier to do that now.  So I will do blogging for long time unless life changes.

I have used zen cart and oscommerce even tested them with in many ways.  I felt comfortable with zen cart because it is very customizable with template and more features than oscommerce. 

They also have very good support community because when I asked for help, they are very kind to help out.  They update the software all the time to protect all store owners!

I tried use oscommerce one time and change the template, it have too many bugs and too limited.  I think oscommerce is good for programmers that I am not programmer but know some editing codes that it. 

They have worse community support.  When i asked for the help, they never response for it.  When I use the contribution from them for shipping module, he never put instruction.  He assumed that everyone know how to install it that was disappointing. 

I had to ask someone who is expert at database that happened to be my best buddy, so I decide put up the instruction to help others.  Some people were pleased with the instruction that i created since they contacted me about it.

So I chose zen cart as my shopping cart and had been using it.  I love it. 

I have experienced use them both in past.  In many ways that I prefer professional because it have more options and flexibilty with networking.  It is perfect for business people and elitists because it have more features and options plus help business better. 

Home edition XP is limited to networking and have more bugs.  Also it is not good for business people or elitists.  So they are good for family or normal people who are not expert in computer.
